Network Nine

Today was my last day teaching at Hokowhitu School as I am leaving to take up a teaching position at Russell Street School in Palmerston North.
I have enjoyed my year and a half at Hokowhitu and will leave with lots of happy memories. I will always remember fondly my two classes ‘Fab4′ and ‘Network Nine’ [...]

This afternoon Network Nine dug up the Time Capsule that they burried in Week 1 of Term 1.

Over the last couple of days we have been racing our CO2 cars at Hokowhitu School. It was awesome fun!!!

Yesterday Network Nine presented assembly with a Racing Car theme. The presenters sat in Go-Carts and did a great job.
Mr B made a funny little movie about the Tui Team CO2 Teacher Race today. It was hilarious and nearly brought the house down. Unfortunately he can’t put it on the Blog because of Copyright laws.

Check out our finished CO2 Racing Cars! We have worked really hard on these and finally finished them on Friday.
All that is left to do is now race them! I wonder who has designed the fastest car?

Today we were lucky enough to have Amy-Mae’s Mum and Dad come into class as Mystery Readers. They taught us all about their home town of Nottingham and took turns at reading a book about Robin Hood.
